Early Childhood Learning Center

The SCC Early Childhood Learning Center provides services to children ages 0 – 12 years of age. Our operation hours are from 7:45 am to 4:30 pm. An application needs to be filled out with all required documentations and submitted for the ECE program to decide eligibility. The eligibility requirements are SCC students (children), Disability/Foster Children, and Low Income.

We are a learning center and provide learning education to all children enrolled in our program.

Our goal is to promote developmentally appropriate learning activities on a daily basis for the children of SCC childcare. We also stress the importance of their own identity, traditional values, language and Culture of the Chippewa Cree people. Learning activities are based on both Chippewa Cree culture and modern-day teachings of our curriculum.

Parents are always welcome to visit with us and have Breakfast, Lunch and snack. The food guidelines we follow is with the CACFP program, which also provides a good healthy nutritious meal for all enrolled children.
